Battle 474 is also called "The Abyss of Death"
Summary
Junazard told Sakaki to come up to him, but Sakaki refused.
He remembered when he, Hongo, and Suzuki infiltrated a base with an opponent that was a former member of some country's unit and wants to make Japan a halfway point in a weapons trade. Sakaki and Hongo jumped in and attacked the armed men, but suddenly saw two girls as hostages (which they didn't knkow about). Hongo took the bullets so Suzuki could save them and Sakaki took out the gunmen. Hongo was hospitalized after receiving so many bullet wounds. Sakaki then went to the tournament to win for Hongo despite being heavily wounded as well. Sakaki fought in the tournament and was winning until he saw Hongo appear and had escaped from the hospital. Hongo had then won the tournament.
Sakaki knew that Hongo's tenancity for martial arts made him jump over the Abyss of Death.
