Altair is a star that can be created in the Lover's Loom of Beautiful Katamari. The star is first seen in We ♥ Katamari as a collectable star in space and could not be created within the game along with Vega. In Beautiful Katamari, the star reappears as Vega's satellite and nothing more beyond that.
Appearance
The star changes between games, in We ♥ Katamari, Altair appears as a yellow star with a man and cow hanging off from the star, the star also has smaller stars that float around it.
In Beautiful Katamari, Altair is seen as a pink star with a lady in a pink kimono sitting on the star, the star also has a few miniature stars and some threads that hand off the star's point. This was Vega's original design in We ♥ Katamari.
