The Sun (太陽, Taiyō) is the star at the center of the Solar System.

In Kamen Rider Series

Kamen Rider Black RX

Black RX's roll call referred himself as "the child of the sun". The Sun also gives Black RX's Sunbasker energy to heal Black RX or the Sunriser power to let Kohtaro transform.

Kamen Rider Agito

It is exposure to sunlight which enables Agito to evolve from Burning Form to Shining Form.

Kamen Rider Wizard

Finding himself unable to destroy the immortal Phantom Phoenix, Kamen Rider Wizard was only able to neutralize him permanently by using the power of his newly accessed All Dragon form to Rider Kick the Phantom into the sun, condemning Phoenix to an eternity of perpetual death and revival within the sun's intense heat. ^{[The Decisive Battle]}

• In the apocryphal Kamen Rider Wizard in Magica Land installment Client: Yugo, Koyomi predicts that Phoenix would ultimately become strong enough to escape the sun in a million years' time, but also noted that by that time humanity would be long extinct so it wouldn't matter.
