"Lump" by The Presidents of the United States of America is featured on Just Dance, Just Dance Now (for players who subscribed before April 9, 2024), and Just Dance+. The song was also featured on Just Dance Unlimited and 舞力无限 (where the artist was credited as "Lump"), but was removed from both on August 1 and 2, 2024, respectively.
Appearance of the Dancer
Original

The dancer is a woman with wild orange hair. She wears orange glasses, viridian pajamas with white borders, orange and white cuffs on her arms and legs, and viridian socks. She also wears a pair of white dog slippers, which have long, floppy ears with orange accents inside, orange eyes, and a viridian nose.
Remake
In the remake, the dancer has a slightly lighter color scheme and an indigo outline, and her face is more visible. Besides, her pajamas have a more visible gradient, which gets lighter towards the bottom.
Background
Original
The routine takes place in an abstract dark orange kitchen with light orange furniture. The kitchen contains furniture such as a refrigerator, a counter with a cylinder object on it, cupboards, and kitchen tables. Throughout the routine, some pink bubbles can be seen flying behind the coach. The kitchen also darkens and brightens up throughout the routine.
Remake
In the remake, the kitchen is now in a lighter shade of orange and the floor is now shiny and checkered. The furniture is now animated and bounces to the beat and according to the coach’s moves. The highlights in the furniture flash aqua green to the rhythm of the music. During the interlude and the outro, the white tiles on the floor has a white shine moving across them according to the coach’s moves. The pink bubbles have been removed.
Shake Moves
There are 6 Shake Moves in this routine, all of which are the same:
All Shake Moves: Put your left arm out and shake your right arm vigorously as if you were playing a guitar.
Gold Moves
There are 3 Gold Moves in the remake:
Gold Moves 1 and 2: Put your left arm out and shake your right arm vigorously as if you were playing a guitar.
Gold Move 3: Shake your head and your left arm and move your right arm up and down twice.

Trivia
General
- Lump has the longest artist name in the entire series, with 39 characters (47 with spaces).
- Lump was the first song from Just Dance to return to Just Dance Unlimited during a season.
- Darkest Hour and Lump were the second and third maps to be released on 舞力无限 outside of a season or a game bundle, after Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.
- With its release date being May 14, 2024 and its removal being scheduled for August 2, 2024[3], Lump holds the record for the shortest period of availability out of any map in 舞力无限, with only 80 days (less than three months).
- The artist is credited as Lump on 舞力无限.[4]
- In the Amazon page for Just Dance, the band is credited as "The Presidents Of The USA".[5]
- The following anomalies are present in the Just Dance lyrics:
- "Pajamas" is spelled in British English as "pyjamas", even though the band is American. It is also misspelled as "pyjammas".
- "Was sorta rotten and insane" is misinterpreted as "Were sorta rotten and insane".
- "Lump was limp and rotten" is misinterpreted as "And Lump was limp/And lonely and".
- "At sub-sonic speeds" is misspelled as "At subsonic speeds".
- "Is this lump outta my head?" is misinterpreted as "Is this Lump out of my head" and lacks the question mark.
- All of these mistakes have been fixed in the remake.
- While Just Dance spells the band’s name as "The Presidents of the United States of America", Just Dance Now onward spell it as "The Presidents of The United States of America".
- In the remake, all capitalized instances of the word "Lump" in the lyrics, save for the outro, are now in lowercase, despite the official lyrics capitalizing them.
- The Just Dance Unlimited trailer for Season 4: Just Dance 2020 Celebration erroneously lists Lump with the song title and artists for Proud Mary.
- In the Nintendo Switch notification for the "Just Dance 2020 Celebration Event", the artist’s name is misspelled as "The Presidents Of The United Staes Of America"" (with an additional pair of inverted commas).[6]
Routine
- Lump has six Shake Moves, thus being the routine with the highest number of Shake Moves in Just Dance.
- If the entire franchise is taken into account, Lump is beaten by Hot, Hot, Hot (which has eight Shake Moves).
- Lump is one of the six dancers from Just Dance who were never used in Puppet Master Modes or Mashups. The others are Bebe, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Groove Is In The Heart, Surfin’ Bird, and Womanizer.
- The coach’s glasses constantly disappear due to a glitch in Just Dance and in the remake.
- In the banner displayed at the start of the routine, Lump’s artist lacks "The" in their name.
- The Shake Move pictogram for Lump is remarkably similar to the Shake Move pictogram in Louie Louie.
- In the Just Dance menu icon, the cuffs on the coaches’ sleeves are completely yellow instead of white and orange.
- In the trailer for Season 4: Just Dance 2020 Celebration, no pictograms are displayed, the pictogram bar is red (its default color) and no moves are counted, due to the fact that those assets had not been updated within the announcement of the event.
