Chen is a character in Just Cause 2.

Description

Chen is a colonel featured in the Reapers side mission The Broader Scope.

Rico is instructed to "Now kill that pig, Colonel Chen" by Reapers leader, Bolo. If the player chooses to move close to Chen, he flees into a nearby bunker, hence why a sniper position is recommended. However, it is possible to kill him up close with a powerful enough weapon or upgraded weaponry.

Trivia

He is one of the few colonels that are not actually colonels. An unnamed colonel can be found in An Officer and a Hitman. However, they are all assassinated in faction missions.
- As these faction missions are not required to be done by Rico, his fate is technically up to the player.
He uses the same character model as an officer (blue bodyguards to real colonels).
Judging by his surname, he appears to be Chinese-Panauan.
