sherry, formerly known as CASSIS, is a Euro-dance based female dance and vocal girl group that debuted in 2007 as a joint project between the agency LDH and the record label Pony Canyon. Their music style combined disco music with dance and R&B.
After the release of their 2nd single in late 2007, they were dropped by their initial record label Pony Canyon and parted from LDH. Afterwards, the group signed with UNIVERSAL MUSIC JAPAN and changed their name to "sherry" on January 1, 2009.
