SAM is a member of TRF.
He married singer Amuro Namie in October 1997. Their son, Haruto, was born in May 1998. The couple divorced in 2002, and Amuro Namie received custody of their son.
In 2015, it was revealed that he is married to an ordinary woman and the couple has a daughter.
