"STONE OCEAN" is the first opening theme of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and the tenth overall opening theme of the series' TV adaptation. Performed by ichigo from Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets, with lyrics by Shoko Fujibayashi, composition by Takahiro Kawata, and arrangement by Masaki Iehara. The animation sequence was produced by Kamikaze Douga.
Opening Animation

The opening starts off with a string traveling towards a truck driving down a road, which holds several people - including Jolyne and Ermes who are sitting down - and zooms out of the truck showing the prison which they're going to. The title then reveals the show, with a butterfly appearing in-between the words 'Stone Ocean' before flying off. Then Jolyne is shown in a cell with Gwess with a star of strings appearing and disappearing, transitioning into 2 cops seemingly shooting at Jolyne, who's escaping. Then it transitions through a prison hall which shows and and then zooms into a guard before we view a prisoner, the search party members as well as Atroe, with Foo Fighters in her body, who runs to Jolyne and Ermes to pose while the scenery changes to Emporio's Ghost Room with Emporio, Weather, and Anasui.
A bunch of items fall onto a piano and zooms into a sewer showing Foo Fighters and Jolyne trying to catch a bunch of balls falling from the sky before quickly zooming into a room with Jotaro, Jolyne, and Manhattan Transfer with the room rotating to show the star on the back of Jotaro's jacket which glows inside a jail cell window with Jotaro and Jolyne looking at it with her pendant, strings around it fall behind them while Jolyne's face is shown in a DISC.

Jolyne is then seen sitting in a pool of water with a similar cosmic background from the previous openings, and then breaks out of her wrist cuffs as she unleashes her Stand, Stone Free. The scene changes as Jolyne, Ermes, and Foo Fighters hop on around huge bullets as they use their Stand abilities. The animation cuts to a scene with Weather on screen as the camera zooms towards Jolyne as they battle Lang Rangler with a bunch of nails flying at them.
The scene transitions as Jolyne is seen running at a river with bunches of plankton shooting out of the water as they transition into little DISCs and fall into the barn where they were stored.[1] A string runs down the camera and forms a star shape, showing a flashback of the Stone Mask, Red Stone of Aja, Vanilla Ice's defeat, a reflection of Stray Cat, Sheer Heart Attack, and Crazy Diamond, and the Arrow, referencing all of the previous parts in the series. The star shaped string transitions into Jolyne's Star Birthmark, the camera moves in front of her as Jotaro is seen behind her. She walks away and lays her head against the imaginary prison cell as the butterfly from the beginning flies away.

Final Version
In the final version of the intro, there is only a significant change near the end of the sequence. The star-shaped string transitions into Jolyne's birthmark, and she turns around and walks towards her father instead. She then lays her head against his back and then climbs on top of him. The butterfly flies away and transitions into a view of the prison, with frogs raining down instead of the butterfly flying away. The opening ends with Savage Guardian flying away.
