Electronic Arts is an American video game company based on Redwood City, California. It published James Bond video games from 1999 to 2005. Despite having exclusive rights to Bond games until 2009, Eletronic Arts decided to conclude their agreement with MGM Interactive in 2006; as the company wanted to move away from licensed properties and focus on their own IPs. The rights to James Bond games were then acquired by Activision in May 2006, becoming exclusive in September 2007.[1]
