Mayonaka (魔夜中), originally known as Mahiruma (真昼間), was a corrupted god who was created from his grief after believing he had been deceived by Oharu.
History
Mayonaka was created from Mahiruma after be believed Oharu has deceived him, causing him to cry out in anguish and create the flaming bulls. At some point prior, Mahiruma and Oharu had a son named Goro. Years later, Goro would bring the demon slayer Setsuna to Mayonaka. He would tell Setsuna his tale, and she would see the thread of fate. Setsuna cut it, causing a large stone to rise out of the ground, and the top broke way to reveal Oharu. Oharu says she reclaimed the treasure, and Mayonaka said he understood and returned to being Mahiruma. He embraced Oharu and they ascended into the sky together.
Personality
Physical description
Mahiruma/Mayonaka appears as a tall and slender man.
As Mahiruma, he has long platinum blonde hair, fair skin, and gold eyes. He wears a pale blue hakui with yellow sode-kukuri laced on the cuffs, a sleeveless pale pink yukata, a lilac long vest with a light blue inside and golden accents, a green pearl beaded necklace, pale blue sashinuki hakama, and white boots.
When he turns into Mayonaka, his hair becomes black, and his skin becomes olive colored with two blue crescents underneath both eyes that becomes matching blue. His outfit becomes black with gold trimmings and his necklace becomes red.
Powers & Abilities
- Flaming Bulls: Mayonaka had the ability to turn bulls into flaming bulls and presumably create them.
- Creating mud: Mayonaka could create mud that he could use to temporarily trap people and the harden it. They would remain unharmed and eventually the mud would dissipate. They briefly broke it to free their faces to breathe since they heard from Mayonaka.
- Regenerate materials: Mayonaka can regenerated his own clothes from his power without ease.
