The Birth of the Jewel is the 94th chapter of the InuYasha manga.
Synopsis
- Sango reveals her family history and the story behind the creation of jewel by Midoriko, the miko.
- Then Kagome, Miroku, and Sango believe that they're being manipulated by the jewel, but Inuyasha scolds them this is no joke. He wears that, if the jewel's fate repeatedly returns things to evil, with his own hand, will sever that fate.
Summary
Sango escorts the gang to visit the cave of Midoriko and reveals how she battled the dragon demon for seven days before sacrificing herself leading to the creation of Shikon no Tama, with Naohi and Magatsuhi. Midoriko was secretly loved by a human just like Naraku.
