A Greater Aura is the 231st chapter of InuYasha manga.
Synopsis
- Inuyasha continues to fight with the imitation Ogre. He kills it.
- The True Oni's head appears in front of Kagome Higurashi and Shippō. It had hidden some spiritual power inside the princess' body, but then sees Kagome has sacred jewel shards and starts to chase her for them. Inuyasha saves her.
- The Ogre's head explains that she killed the princess, took her form, and then possessed the Lord of the castle and had him protect the real body of the princess.
- Miroku asks the Ogre why it waited until now to come out of hiding, because it was powerful enough to give him trouble; it would have had no problem surviving outside of the castle. The demon states that if it had come out of hiding, it would have been overcome by an even greater aura: Naraku. But Naraku has disappeared, so now it can go wreck all the havoc it wants.
- As the Ogre's head tries to escape, Inuyasha attacks with his wind scar, but it's not enough to stop the demon. Miroku kills it once and for all by sucking it into his Kazaana.
- Haori and the group say their goodbyes and head their separate ways. Inuyasha thinks to himself that all the demons who have come out of hiding are just pipsqueaks who were afraid of Naraku. He vows to find him, wherever he's hiding, and kill him.
