Tsuchisaka (土坂) is a mountain pass that stretches between Kanna and Nishi Chichibu of the Gunma and Saitama prefectures. It is the home course of a group of Lancer Evolution drivers.
In the run up to their races with Project D, the Tsuchisaka Lancer Evolution Team poured oil onto the road in an attempt to make their opponents crash. While they successfully made Keisuke Takahashi crash, they were unable to get Takumi Fujiwara to crash, and the remnants of the oil would later lead to the defeat of their own team member, Ichijo, during his race with Takumi.
The afformentioned oil slick is present on the course in most game appearances.
Trivia
- Although this course was visited by Project D during there Saitama expedtion, the part of the course that they battle on is located in Gunma.
