Chapter 554

Zero vs. Keisuke (Part 2) (ゼロVS.啓介!! (後編), Zero VS. Keisuke!! (Kōhen), "Zero VS. Keisuke!! (Continued)") is the five hundred and fifty-fourth chapter of Initial D.

Plot

Keisuke returns from his runs, and says that the water appears to have settled. Fumihiro says that it's unlikely the rain will pick up again. Ryosuke decides that they should plan for the roads to be half wet. Keisuke notes the fog, but says that he can still see through it.

Elsewhere on the course, Okuyama prepares for his race. He's disappointed that it has rained, which means he won't be able to make the most of his modifications. His teammate notes that the roads might have dried by the time he gets to race, as the hillclimb comes first. Okuyama hopes Ikeda can buy some time for the roads to dry up.

Junichi gets Ikeda, who had been meditating in his car. He says that he has no strategy for the race, as he wants to make the best use of his car.

Ikeda greets Keisuke, and laments that the roads aren't dry. He decides to take the lead on the first lap.
