Ashimar

Ashimar, or Jarred in his past life, is a character, appearing in Infinity Blade III and the books Infinity Blade: Awakening and Infinity Blade: Redemption.

Description

Ashimar is a Deathless and member of Raidriar's Pantheon.

History

Infinity Blade: Awakening

Siris and Kuuth discused Ashimar when they were deciding which Deathless to assault next.

Infinity Blade: Redemption

Ashimar, at the time known as Jarred, was a good friend of Uriel, Raidriar's father, in Galath's multilevel company. When Raidriar traveled to the Ark to confront the Worker of Secrets, he encountered Ashimar, but was forced to fight him after discovering that he had become a minion of the Worker. Raidriar defeated Ashimar, stabbing him with the Infinity Blade, permanently killing him.

Infinity Blade III

When Raidriar confronted the Worker of Secrets at the Ark, the Worker sought to have him "fight [his] way over" to him. After Raidriar defeated an Iron Dreadnaught, the Worker then had Ashimar brought out through an elevator platform. Raidriar attempted to avoid fighting Ashimar, recounting "you showed me kindness when I was young", and made a plea that he lay down his weapon that he might not be forced to kill him. Ashimar, with understanding that the Worker was all powerful and knowing, tried to dissuade Raidriar from pursuing further confrontation with him. Bearing the Infinity Blade, Raidriar remarked that he held the only weapon that might defeat the Worker, only for Ashimar to materialize his own weapon, which unmistakably resembling a second Infinity Blade. Acknowledging the intent to battle, Raidriar apologized remorsefully, but Ashimar rejected his apology. The two battled, with Raidriar defeating Ashimar, stabbing him with the Infinity Blade and permanently killing him.

Gameplay

Ashimar is a large (light) titan. He is the second titan fought during the tutorial sequence. He receives an alias The Sorrowmaker, but is not a boss titan, nor does he receive titan perks. He is first encountered at level 20.
