Ice bandage – In Rapture in Death, Eve wrapped her injured knee with an ice bandage;[1] in Divided in Death, Peabody fixed an ice bandage to Eve’s face to decrease the bruising and swelling. She said that Eve might not end up with a full shiner.[2] Ice gel,[3] cold packs,[4] and cold bags[5] are, likely, similar variations of the “ice bandage” used to reduce swelling/inflammation/pain of an injury (e.g., instant cold pack).
