I.MET.U (아이멧유; TIMETURNER) is an upcoming global idol-girl group under PI Corporation formed through the survival show Time Turner. Their debut date is still currently unknown.
History
Pre-debut
On August 28, 2024, PI Corporation announced their new girl-group survival show project Time Turner, in collaboration with Makestar, which would air live on TikTok. It is the platform’s first ever real-time survival show. It was later confirmed to be airing on November 8, with the finale on November 22.
On November 22, the five debuting contestants were announced. Kelly Kim was announced as the first member to be revealed as she was Rank 1 overall, then Sim Yerin, Lu Yuting, Cleo and, Lea Navvab respectively.
On December 9, Sim Yerin revealed the group name to be I.MET.U through a TikTok live.[1] It was confirmed a day later by Kelly Kim.[2] She also revealed the group would be attending TikTok Live Fest 2024.
On December 27, they appeared as a group for the first time on TikTok Live Fest: 2024 SHOUT-OUT Festival and performed the I.MET.U version of the Time Turner signal song "Find Me Now".[3]
On January 17, 2025, Lu Yuting announced her departure from the group prior to debut after coming to a mutual agreement with PI Corporation.[4]
