Some time during Sonic's driving practice, he heard on the radio that Eggman was attacking a town, with a group of badniks that included at least one Uni Uni. (30th Special: Sonic Learns to Drive) Like the other badniks, the Uni Unis attempted to celebrate Eggman's birthday, despite Eggman not enjoying it. (30th Special: Dr. Eggman's Birthday)
