The Rexon was a plesiosaurus-based badnik. Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik created a model of one, as well as Sonic and his friends, in his personal Egg Cave.
History
Dr. Eggman's birthday
The Roller was one of the badniks attempting to celebrate Dr. Eggman's past birthday, wearing a party hat and blowing a party trumpet while its creator was eating at the table.
Modern Era
A model of a Rexon was one of the many toy models created by Eggman that he had stored in his "Egg Cave", which was recently moved to Egg Base Alpha.

Trivia
- The Rexon was based on the Rexon in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series.
- It is presumed that unlike the badniks used by modern Eggman, these badniks exhibited characteristic traits, such as fawning over the doctor and celebrating his birthday on their own volition.
- They are also shown to be more expressive.
- So far, the Rexon from the main IDw universe has yet to make a proper appearance, only appearance as a small model. However, the classic iteration is seen in Dr Eggman's Birthday in Sonic the Hedgehog: 30th Anniversary Special.
