The Burrobot is a line of Badnik, modelled after a mole, that was created by Doctor Eggman to serve as part of his robot forces in his efforts to conquer the world.
History
Dr. Eggman's Birthday
A burrobot was among the forces used by Heavy King to take out Sonic, as a birthday surprise for Eggman.

Post Eggman War
After Sonic the Hedgehog managed to defeat Dr. Eggman in their previous encounter, the doctor disappeared. However, his robot forces remained and continued to attack without a leader. Among these robots were the Peppepes. After Dr. Eggman recovered his memories, all the badniks, including these badniks, came under his control again. #1, #7
At some point, Clutch and his Clean Sweep Inc. copmpany attempted to use a regiment of reprogrammed Burrobots and Grounders, under the protection of Rough and Tumble, to salvage the presumably abandoned Starline Base Sigma. However, they were repelled by Surge the Tenrec and Kitsunami the Fennec. (#57)

During the time of the Paradox Prism incident, Doctor Eggman was accompanied by Burrobots, Buzzbombers and a Caterkiller whilst trying to aquire the Prism.
