James Douglas Muir "Jay" Leno, born in New Rochelle, New York, is an actor and television personality. He voices the armadillo Fast Tony in Ice Age: The Meltdown, reprising his role for the film’s video game adaption.
Born to Angelo and Catherine Leno, an insurance salesman and homemaker respectively, Leno grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, where his high school counselor suggested Leno drop out of high school; in spite of this, Leno earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Emerson College in speech therapy, in which he started a comedy club in 1973. In 1992, Leno replaced Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show and was replaced in 2009 by Conan O'Brien; since then, Leno has hosted his own show, The Jay Leno Show.
