The Gas Room is a room in the Violet Area of the game Ib. It has a second floor in the Brown Area. The room is filled with toxic red gas that depletes petals from Garry's rose with each step.
When Garry enters this room, he must walk directly to the right to collect the Red Umbrella between two gas clouds. He can heal afterwards using the Eternal Blessing outside the room. Once he gives the umbrella to the Fisherman via the Fishing Hook painting, Ib can finish the Lady With Her Umbrella painting on the second floor and make it rain above the Gas Room. The rain will leak through the ceiling into the vase. This makes it possible to heal halfway through the room and get to the pull cord which turns off the gas. Afterwards, Garry can collect the ball of paint for the rainbow puzzle.

Remake Version
The remake of the Gas Room is completely different than the original 2012 version. When Ib goes into the upper floor of the Gas Room in the Brown Area, there is the Lady With Her Umbrella to the right and to the left top and bottom of room is a display of sculptures called "Dried Up Helical Lifeforms". In the True Guertena Exhibit, it is displayed from left to right, unlike the one in the cursed gallery.
