Books are located everywhere throughout the Fabricated World in the game Ib. Their primary purpose is to reveal crucial facts about the game's story, though they are never too direct and mostly serve as foreshadowing. Some of the books could likely be written by Weiss Guertena himself, but others are notably from different authors.

- There are two bookshelves in the Orange Area, located in the secluded room where the White Ant Painting hangs. They are, therefore, unreachable.
