Suupuushan 「四不象, Sibuxiang」 is a protagonist of the Houshin Engi anime and manga series and is Taikoubou's Spirit Beast.
He is a Spiritual Beast given to Taikobou by Genshitenson. A naive, optimistic and kind-hearted character, he became a loyal companion to Taikobou once he discovered that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to him. Suupuushan is often noted by others to resemble a flying hippo.
Appearance
Suupuushan has white and black fur with pure white hair, two white horns protruding from his head, a small tail and green eyes with slightly effiminate eyelashes. Due to his round snout, he is often mistaken for a hippo. His clothing consists of a light orange cape-like scarf, long pointy red shoes and light orange gloves.
In his adult form, Shuupuushan's snout elongates and is slightly bent. His horns grow longer and his eyes become larger and more animal-like. He also doesn't have eyelashes. His body grows and lengthens, giving him a skinny appearance, and his hair also grows, covering the top of his body like a blanket. His tail also elongates as well. His clothes remain the same, but he also gains shorts, a horse-like harness around his horns and a collar around his neck.
Personality
Shuupuushan is a very kind-hearted, caring, and compassionate Spirit Beast. He is also very sarcastic and will always defend his friends from harm.
