Purgewater Bombs are a type of ammunition in Horizon Forbidden West. They are compatible with certain types of Blastslings. Purgewater bombs explode on impact, dealing medium Purgewater damage and high Purgewater buildup over a 2 meter radius. It also leaves behind a lingering pool, dealing purgewater buildup to anything standing within it. Overdrawn Purgewater Bombs leave behind additional residual damage areas.
This can be used to drench opponents, rendering their elemental attacks impotent and leaving them susceptible to elemental buildup from any element, even to ones they would normally be resistant to. Effective against enemies vulnerable to purgewater.
