Pangea was a 21st century science fiction media franchise created by Londra Productions.
Background
The Pangea franchise focused on the heroic dinosaur hunter Jane (played by Evelyn Day) who traveled between dimensions via the Pangea Portal and battled aggressive dinosaurs.[1][2] During Jane's adventures, she ultimately and willingly stranded herself in Pangea in order to save her companion Trevor and defeat Queen Rex.[3]
Pangea was immensely popular with the public, leading the market-driven franchise to create a theme park, Pangea Park, the Pangea Figurine toy-line, and a fast food restaurant, Rex Mex.[4][5] The franchise also included a child-friendly mascot, "Reggie", who was detested by Londra Productions founder Walter Londra and divisive among fans.[6][7]

- The Pangea franchise has similarities to the Jurassic Park franchise, as both prominently feature dinosaurs. The ring-shaped Pangea Portal heavily resembles the Stargate from the eponymous Stargate franchise.
