Karhn is a minor character in Horizon Forbidden West. He operates the lift that travels between the Daunt and the rest of the Sundom.
History
Karhn has a history with Thurlis, as the two would get into trouble together, which Thurlis happily remembers.[1]
Horizon Forbidden West
Following the emergence of Bristlebacks in the Daunt, a work stoppage was put in place by Chainscrape's "leader" Ulvund: as part of the stoppage, Karhn was given strict orders not to operate the lift until told otherwise.[2]
Aloy encountered Karhn on her way to the upcoming Embassy at Barren Light. Despite his protests, Karhn eventually relented to bring Aloy down to the Daunt after she threatened to transport herself. On the way down, Karhn explained the situation surrounding the work shortage and the subsequent delay in the Embassy.[3]
Before moving on, Aloy stopped the Sun-Priest Studious Vuadis from boarding the lift, reiterating that Karhn was under strict orders not to transport anyone. Happy to not cross Ulvund a second time, Karhn returned to the top of the canyon alone.[3]
