"Kim Min-Kyeung" (Hangul: 김민경); formaly known as "Roa" (Hangul: 로아) is a South Korean singer and dancer under OSR Entertainment. She debuted as a member of "Pristin" in 2017 as Roa. She was the Sub-Leader, Lead Vocalist, Visual of "Pristin". Pristin disbanded on May 24, 2019 and she left Pledis. She debuted as a member of "HINAPIA" in 2019. She is the Leader, Lead Vocalist and Lead Dancer of "HINAPIA".
Early Life
Minkyeung was born on July 29, 1997 in Chuncheon, South Korea. She is an only child. She started training at the end of 2013 during her middle school days in a practical music school. She became a trainee in 2014.
Career
2014: My Copycat
On August 17, 2014, Minkyeung was a backup dancer in Orange Caramel's "My Copycat" music video.
2016: Produce 101 • Daybreak • Falling Slowly
In January 2016, Minkyeung participated in the Mnet's girl group survival reality show "Produce 101" but she was eliminated in episode 8, ended on rank 42nd.
On October 6, 2016, Minkyeung appeared in NU'EST JR & Minhyun's "Daybreak" music video.
2017: Debut with Pristin
On March 21, 2017, Minkyeung debuted in the girl group "Pristin" as Roa. On July 9, Minkyeung appeared in SBS' show "Fantastic Duo Season 2" as Roa.
2019: Departure from Pristin • Debut with HINAPIA
On May 24, 2019, Pristin was officially disbanded and Pledis Entertainment announced that Minkyeung would be departing from the label. On October 18, Al Seul Bit Entertainment announced that Minkyeung would debut in the agency's first girl group since its establishment. On November 3, she debuted with "HINAPIA"; which they released their 1st single album "New Start".
