Tyrone Dobbs is a major protagonist in British Soap Opera Coronation Street. He was introduced as the troubled son of ex convict Jackie Dobbs who later moved in with Jack and Vera Duckworth who were a stabilizing influence and caused him to grow into a very kind and loyal person.
Biography
Tyrone was hired at Kevin Webster's garage and became close friends with him. In 2001 he reluctantly assisted Jack and Vera in protecting their no good son Terry from the police as he was on the run after being framed for attempted murder.
Tyrone dated Maria Sutherland but their relationship ended because of Fiz Brown's interference. He then dated Fiz but this ended when Fiz posed topless on the factory roof to make a stand about her boss Mike Baldwin's mistreatment of her.
Tyrone got married to Molly Compton and became a business partner to Kevin. Molly and Kevin had an affair and Molly died which ruined their friendship, especially when it was revealed that Tyrone's stepson Jack was biologically Kevin's.
When Tommy Duckworth came to the street Tyrone gave him a place to stay and later tried Unsuccessfully to stop him from falling for his father's manipulations when Terry returned to the scene.
Tyrone got into a relationship with Kirsty Soames who gave birth to his daughter Ruby. She abused him and manipulated everyone into turning on him but the truth came out in the end and Tyrone got back together with Fiz. In more recent times Tyrone and Fiz have faced several difficulties due to Tyrone's affair with Alina Pop and Fiz's daughter Hope's unsettling behaviour.
