I am requesting your aid in our immediate assistance, and help relaying this message to all our non-Federation allies. We beg you. Your transports, your freights, your shields. Anything that will slow the attack Starfleet is inflicting upon itself."
Trij: [chuckling] "Heh he he heh! And why should I help?"
Gwyn: "Because in the infinite of space, everyone needs to know there is a place out there willing to accept us all, no matter how different we think we are. Without Starfleet, the Federation crumbles, and that dream dies with it. If they've ever helped you as they helped us, then hear my words. Allies, civilians, outsiders, anyone. Starfleet needs you now, or it will not survive."

Trij: "Starfleet, the mighty Trij offers you salvation. Prepare to beam out!" - Trij upon arriving with Klingon reinforcements to help save Starfleet, also her most famous quote.
Trij, or Commander Trij, was a female Klingon captain, who commanded a Klingon Bird of Prey in the 24th Century. She played a vital and very important role in helping to save Starfleet from tearing itself apart during the Battle of Sol Sector.
She was voiced by voice-actress Debra Wilson in Star Trek: Prodigy.
Personality
At first Trij, was suspicious and somewhat reluctant in wanting to provide aide to Starfleet, but she quickly changed her mind and brought in her fleet to assist. She proved herself by using her ship as a shield to protect the USS Dauntless, Admiral Janeway's personal starship from being destroyed by two torpedo's. When Trej's Bird of Prey had lost it's shields and was about to be destroyed, she braced for the end but was surprise, but also relieved when the contaminated starfleet ships weapons deactivated after the USS Protostar's destruction.
History
In 2384, when Asencia had activated the weapon onboard the USS Protostar, turning starfleet ships against one another during the Battle of Sol Sector, Trij was contacted by Gwyndala, who asked her for aide. Gwyn begged captain Trij to send transports, freighters, shields, or anything to help slow down the attack that Starfleet was inflicting upon itself.
When Trij asked why should she help, Gwyn replied that in the infinite of space, that everyone needed to know that there was a place that would except them all, no matter what their differences. Gwyn argued that without Starfleet, the United Federation of Planets would crumble and so would that dream. Gwyn also argued that if the Federation had ever helped Trij's people, the way they helped her and her friends, then Trij should listen to her words. Gwyn finally stated that Starfleet needed assistance, or they wouldn't survive.
After Gwyn's speech, Trij abruptly ended the call, making it seem like she refused to help, however, Gwyn's speech had managed to successfully get through to the Klingons. Trij soon arrive in her own Klingon Bird of Prey, managing to successfully shield the USS Dauntless from two torpedos being fired at them. Trij soon hailed the USS Dauntless and told them to prepare to beam out. In addition to her own Klingon Bird of Prey, as well as other Klingon warships, Trij was able to convince others such as a Petarian bulk freighter, a Tellarite cruiser, a pair of Vulcan Suurok-class vessels, a Gorn trading vessel belonging to the Gorn Hedgemony, and a single Ferengi D'Kora-class Marauder to assist in using their shields to protect Starfleet.
Unfortunately, Starfleet vessels automatically sent out a distress call when they were in danger, which meant that more and more Starfleet ships began arriving on the scene, only for them to be contaminated as well, making the crew of the USS Protostar realized that there weren't enough allies, which left them with only one choice... to take the Protostar as far away as possible and destroy the USS Protostar, in order to save the galaxy.
Refusing to retreat, Trij and her crew kept on valiantly protecting the Starfleet ships, even when their Klingon Bird of Prey's shields were severely depleted. Fortunately, Trij's Klingon Bird of Prey, and the surviving alliance ships were spared from meeting a grisly fate when the USS Dauntless, and the other Starfleet ships were finally freed from the construct's corruption, when Hologram Janeway sacrificed herself to destroy the USS Protostar by detonating the proto-core while at proto-warp while also ensuring that the USS Protostar's crew had managed to survive in a shuttle.
Trivia
- Trij is one of those noble and honorable Klingons that ultimately became a friend and ally to the USS Protostar crew, most notably with Gwyn who had managed to gain her trust and respect.
- Ever since her onscreen debut appearance, Trij has since become a fan favorite among many Trek fans.
