Tanya Adams was mercenary of the Allies in the Command & Conquer: Red Alert series.
Story
Command and Conquer
Tanya was recruited by Von Esling to fight against the Soviet Union as a commando. She has little repute for military leaders but her skills as shown with General Stavros. Stavros later begins to respect Adams in the war with the Soviet Union. She rescued Einstein from the Soviets and brings him to the Allies. Tanya was captured by the Soviets and taken to an interrogator. An spy went to the Soviet prison and freed Tanya from prison.
She later secures the Soviet's missiles and joined the Allies' attack. Tanya joined the final attack on Moscow and put a major blow against the Soviet Union.
Red Alert 2
In Red Alert 2, she continues her role as the Allies' powerful commando, only this time she swims to sink ships with her C4 charges. Tanya's first assignment following the USSR's invasion of the USA following taking out the USA's nuclear arsenal to prevent a nuclear retaliatory second strike when Romanov refuses to recall the Red Army on President Michael Dugan's orders is aiding in the defense of New York City, first sinking the Soviet Dreadnoughts firing on Lady Liberty, then rendezvous with the Allied GIs and Grizzly Tanks scattered in the city to reestablish contact with Fort Bradley and take out the Soviet supply base near Fort Bradley, though despite her efforts to protect the Statue of Liberty, a V3 Launcher is able to finish the crippled statue off before being rightfully destroyed by a trio of Allied Harriers, triggering a pre-programmed message from Premier Romanov encouraging the American citizens to surrender and join the Soviet Union.
From there, she is then sent to reclaim the United States Air Force Academy from Soviet occupation in Colorado Springs, then take out the Soviet base set up nearby with help from the Harriers stationed at the academy. Tanya is later chosen to lead a raid on the Soviet nuclear missile silos located inside the Polish Soviet Socialist Republic bordering Germany to prevent them from threatening the European Allies should they decide to aid the USA against Romanov. She initially was going to be under French command but convinces U.S. President Michael Dugan to have the Allied commander she served under back Stateside take charge of the operation. With the commander leading her, Tanya successfully locates the silos after having an Allied Spy infiltrate the Soviet Battle Lab and either captures or destroys them, forcing the Soviets to move the rest out of their effective range to protect them from being captured or destroyed as well, removing their blackmail against the European Allies so they could aid the USA against the USSR.
Tanya's next assignment was heading to Saint Louis, Missouri to recapture the city from the Soviets so the United States had unrestricted access to the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers to transport supplies and equipment across the country to send the Soviets packing from their territory. Problem is, Yuri and the Soviet Psychic Corps had deployed a Psychic Beacon in the city at the local sports stadium, and not even Tanya was immune to its effects, but could resist it for some time before she succumbed to its effects, giving only a little time to fight through to the Beacon's location and either destroy it, or capture it, disassembling it for valuable resources and thus freeing the city from the Soviets, with many civilians upon being freed retreating to the riverside for safety. Once Tanya had dealt with the Beacon, Allied reinforcements arrive at the Saint Louis Arch to flush the Soviets out of the city for good, including Professor Albert Einstein's latest creation, the Prism Tank. Once a base is established and the civilians are protected by Allied defenses, including defensive walls, pillboxes, Patriot missiles, and prism towers, the Allied armor could now move in to take out the Soviet base and kick them out of Saint Louis for good. From there, Tanya's final assignment was to be Chronoshifted into Moscow by the Chronosphere set up in the Florida Keys in an IFV, enter the Kremlin, and capture Premier Romanov once his elite Black Guard was dealt with.

In a desperate last bluff to protect the Premier, several Soviet Conscripts tried to disguise one of themselves as Romanov, but when Tanya and her squad breached the Premier's office, Tanya was not fooled by the deception and smacked the phony Romanov to the ground, before finding the real one cowering under his desk, covered by a Soviet flag, and in his boxers no less, leading to Romanov's literal humiliation in the tabloids as Tanya places him under arrest. Tanya later invites her commander to a victory gala at the White House at the behest of President Dugan, offering one of his Presidential helicopters to take them there.
Yuri's Revenge

However, in Yuri's Revenge, Tanya finds herself in another difficult spot as, with Yuri having unleashed his Psychic Dominator Disaster on the Earth, the Allies are on the ropes against the massive army of loyal Yuri forces, both Allied and Soviet alongside Yuri's own personal army, that now controlled most of the planet. Luckily, Professor Einstein had developed a prototype Time Machine to go back in time to prevent the Psychic Dominator Disaster before it could begin. Tanya knows time is not on their side in the present as Yuri is sending his forces out to secure the power plants in San Francisco to power the Dominator on Alcatraz Island until he can get the nuclear reactor repaired and back in service, so the Allies need to claim them first before Yuri does. Once more, Tanya feels things are tougher than she can handle, and wishes that General Carville was still alive after his assassination by a Crazy Ivan during the war with the Soviets. However, Einstein assures her that if his Time Machine works, she may get her wish. Thankfully, the Allies secure enough power plants that they are able to get the Time Machine operational, just as Yuri finished repairs to the nuclear reactor and the Dominator revved to life again. Before Yuri had a chance to unleash the Dominator on the Allies and complete his conquest, Lieutenant Eva and Tanya are able to use the Time Machine to return to the original Soviet invasion of San Francisco in the past, leaving the future fully under Yuri's control behind. Once the Soviet forces are routed by the arrival of Allied troops from the future, Tanya heads to Alcatraz to destroy the Dominator while it is still under construction, thus beginning the end of Yuri's attempts to conquer the future.
After the Allies liberate Los Angeles from Yuri after he used the media there to brainwash the masses to grind up in his Grinders for funds for his war effort, and stop him from holding Seattle hostage with a Soviet nuclear missile silo he possessed while blackmailing the CEO of the Massivesoft campus to further aid in expanding his army, Tanya is sent to Egypt to recover Einstein, whom Yuri captured in an attempt to rapidly advance his Psychic Dominator network to still conquer the planet, but after Tanya takes out the Psychic Towers and Bio Reactors around the Great Pyramid, Einstein is evacuated out, but not without having sabotaged the Egypt Psychic Dominator so that the Allies could use it against Yuri at least once before it self-destructed. The next mission was stopping Yuri from cloning Allied leaders in Sydney, Australia with his cloning vats he had set up there. Once the lab is razed, the Soviets surrender, just like in the original timeline, presumably with Tanya personally arresting Romanov in his office, but when Romanov is told of the threat Yuri poses to the free world, the Soviet Premier agrees to a peace summit with Dugan and the Allies to formally sign a treaty to unite the Allies and Soviets in mutual teamwork to take down Yuri. Unfortunately, Yuri is able to mind-control Lieutenant Eva to get the secret location of the summit at the Houses of Parliament in the Palace of Westminster in London, forcing the Allies to immediately head to London to fortify the Palace of Westminster from attack by Yuri and his most powerful weapons, the Flying Disc and Mastermind, until Dugan and Romanov sign the treaty. Once the treaty is signed, the Soviet Navy arrives to reinforce the Allies with taking down Yuri's London base.
With Yuri on the retreat on all fronts against the Allied-Soviet coalition, Lieutenant Eva, in revenge for Yuri brainwashing her, is able to track him to Antarctica. Once the Soviets repair a damaged scout base of theirs in Tierra del Fuego, the Allies are able to send in their forces to set up on the Antarctic continent. Though Yuri throws everything he's got at the Allies and Soviets with the Genetic Mutator, his final Psychic Dominator, Brutes, Magnetrons, Masterminds, Flying Discs, Virus Snipers, and more, his efforts are futile at the hands of the Allied and Soviet superweapons in the Chronosphere, Weather Control Device, Nuclear Missile Silo, and Iron Curtain, along with Allied Prism Tanks, Mirage Tanks, and Battle Fortresses working with Soviet Apocalypse Tanks, Kirov Airships, and Siege Choppers, and his base is razed piecemeal to the ground, resulting in his capture and imprisonment in a Psychic Isolation Chamber of Einstein's design to keep him locked up for life, thus preventing the Psychic Dominator Disaster before it could even begin. This results in a merging of the two timelines, but the one where Yuri was stopped takes precedence over the one where he won. As a result, when Tanya asks her commander out on the date to the victory gala at the White House, she is stunned when Eva arrives to offer the same thing. Thinking something went haywire when the timelines merged, Tanya calls out to Einstein about using his Time Machine again, telling her commander that she'd catch them on the replay, before heading to the chopper to go to the gala anyway.
Red Alert 3
In Red Alert 3, she is still the Allies best soldier that threatens everything off the ground with her C4 charges and pistols. She has now been equipped with a Chrono Belt to allow her to backtrack some distance in time to recover lost health or escape enemy contact if she is being overwhelmed. Her first assignment in the Allied campaign is helping to save the Allied leaders trapped in the convention center in Cannes, France after it was surrounded by Soviet forces with duping the local Soviet naval forces into returning to their ports, where she sends them right to the briny deep with charges planted by the Allied Spies working with her on the assignment. With the Soviet Navy sunk, the ground forces are soon eliminated by Allied commander Warren Fuller, and the Allies soon overwhelm the Soviet base, forcing Soviet commander Nikolai Moskvin to withdraw in anger at his defeat.
Tanya is later sent to Heidelberg, Germany, where she needs to be rescued after the Soviets set up a base around her position while Allied commander Lissette Hanley was focusing on the main base protecting the Soviet HQ, where Soviet commander Oleg Vodnik was overseeing the Soviet movements in Western Europe. After Tanya is rescued and the Soviet HQ destroyed, Tanya soon finds herself in an unlikely alliance with her Soviet counterpart, Natasha Volkova, when the Allies and Soviets team up to deal with Emperor Yoshiro and the Empire of the Rising Sun as the Japanese make their move to destroy both the Allies and Soviets to secure their Divine Destiny, having blockaded the Northern Atlantic shipping lanes with one of their gigantic Floating Fortresses and captured the port of Gibraltar to block movement in the Mediterranean. After Tanya and Natasha are able to secure a landing site for Moskvin and the Allied commander, they are able to take out the Empire's bases under the command of Imperial General Kenji Tenzai, including a naval reinforcement unit led by Imperial Admiral Naomi Shirada, liberating Gibraltar and the Mediterranean shipping lanes. From there, Tanya and Natasha took out the Imperial radar boats providing long-range targeting for the Floating Fortress' Wave Motion Tri-guns. With the fortress now dark to the Allied and Soviet naval forces approaching it, Soviet commander Zhana Agonskaya and the Allied commander are able to secure a base near the fortress to send in engineers to overload the fortress' power cores. Once the cores went critical, the fortress itself was doomed instantly, while the Allied and Soviet forces withdrew to a safe distance, Tanya and Natasha included.
However, back in the USA, President Howard Ackerman, infuriated by the alliance with the Soviets, had traveled to Mount Rushmore to activate a hidden superweapon that was targeting Moscow. With little option in order to preserve their alliance with Premier Cherdenko, Field Marshall Bingham had Warren and Tanya head to Mount Rushmore to stop Ackerman. Once the firebase for the superweapon was leveled, Ackerman attempted to escape via Marine One, the Presidential helicopter, but was slain before he could, preserving the Allied-Soviet alliance. However, Ackerman may have been right about the Soviets backstabbing the Allies, as during the assault on Tokyo to destroy key infrastructure to the Imperial war effort, the Soviets never showed up, leaving Tanya, Lissette, and the Allied commander to deal with the Empire themselves. Though they succeed, a defecting Dr. Gregor Zelinsky warns them of Cherdenko setting up a Soviet invasion force in Havana, Cuba. A recon mission led by RAF veteran and Allied commander Giles Price discovers that Oleg has modified the various sports arenas in Havana into secret Kirov launch facilities with the Kirovs deployed from them armed with 50-megaton bombs targeting Allied cities. Tanya is called in once more to help destroy the facilities before the Kirovs can escape Cuban airspace, and with the Soviets having revealed their true colors, Bingham orders Tanya, Warren, and the Allied commander to head to Leningrad to capture Cherdenko and General Krukov before they can escape into space on a shuttle launched from the Peter and Paul Fortress. The mission proves successful as the launch facility is destroyed, and Cherdenko and Krukov are captured and sentenced to cryo-prison for life. Tanya later asks the Allied commander out on a date following their victory, unaware that Lieutenant Eva had just asked the same thing.
