Shoma (with the birth name Shoma Stomach or Shoma Inoue) is main protagonist in Kamen Rider Gavv. He is half human, half Granute hybrid.
Shoma originally had the same gavv as the other Granutes. But at his father's request, Dente remodeled Shoma's gavv into a Henshin Belt Gavv or Red Gavv (赤ガヴ, Akagavu?), which allowed Shoma to produce Gochizo and transform himself into Kamen Rider Gavv.
He is portrayed by Hidekazu Chinen, who also played his dark counterpart .
History
Background
Shoma is the son of a human mother named Michiru Inoue and a Granute father named Bouche Stomach who comes from Granute World. One day, he and his mother were captured by his half-siblings, who reveal them that their father has passed away. Shoma then witnesses his mother being turned into a Human Press and was imprisoned after his mother gets crushed by Stomach Inc. agents.
Arriving on Earth
When he was escaping from Stomach Inc. soldiers to survive, Shoma accidentally discovers a door which leads to Earth from the Granute homeworld. Upon discovering the portal, Shoma falls from the sky and ends up stranded on the seaside where he was found by a kid named Hajime Hiroi. Shoma's first response was to have some snacks.
Mistaken as "Evil Granute"
The public's inability to distinguish between Shoma and his malevolent clone results in widespread fear and mistrust towards Shoma. Even his close allies, such as Hanto Karakida, are initially deceived by Dark Shoma's appearance and actions, leading to internal conflicts within the group.
The Secret about Dark Shoma
After killing the evil clone of himself. Shoma met the second evil clone of himself again and told him the secret about them, which was that they were mass-produced.
