Quinn McKenna is the main protagonist of the 2018 film, The Predator. He is Emily's estranged husband, the father of Rory and a Army Ranger who discovers the existence of the Predators and leads a battle against them.
He was portrayed by Boyd Holbrook.
Biography
The film follows the story of Quinn McKenna, a former Army Ranger, who stumbles upon a Predator spaceship during a mission. He manages to secure some alien technology and sends it to his son Rory in the U.S. Rory, being on the autism spectrum, manages to decipher the alien tech, unintentionally alerting more Predators to Earth. Meanwhile, a government agency, led by Will Traeger, captures the crashed Predator and brings in Casey Bracket, an evolutionary biologist, to study it.
However, the alien equipment Quinn managed to get his hands on turns out to be far more important than he could have expected, with both the marooned Predator and a second "ultimate" Predator, who's been upgrading itself with the DNA from other species across the stars, soon hunting him to retrieve it. So begins a four-way race between the two opposing Predators, the U.S. government's "Men In Black", and McKenna himself, who's enlisted the help of his mentally unstable ex-soldier busmates and a biologist who was studying the Predators, to retrieve the mysterious device Quinn sent for safekeeping to his estranged wife and their son.
Personality
On the battle, Quinn becomes ruthless and determined while dealing with the Predators, as he leads the conflict against them. Likewise, he is quite benevolent and honorable, as he shows that he cares a lot about his family and allies. He dedicated his job to save humanity from the Predators.
