Well it ain't over yet... God, one minor set-back and you're acting like a baby. You're pathetic.
~ Pete to Jimmy to stop Gary Smith.

Peter "Pete" Kowalski is the deuteragonist of the 2006 video game Bully. He is a cliqueless student at Bullworth Academy and best friend of Jimmy Hopkins, acting as his moral support frequently.

He is voiced by Matt Bush.

Personality

Pete is an outcast at school who in his own words is too cool to be a nerd and too lame to be cool, being treated as the most normal person in Bullworth. He is timid and shy, leading him to being unpopular and bullied frequently, especially by Gary, but despite that he is kindhearted and wants a peaceful school. He also wants to spend time with and have what is best for his friends (even Gary), even if they do not respect him.

Pete Kowalski is the smallest kid of all the older kids, he is smaller than Jimmy, he wears a Bullworth blue sweater vest, with a pink shirt underneath and brown school slacks. During winter he wears black school slacks and adds a pair of maroon mittens. He has dark brown hair worn in a buzzcut and brown eyes. He is the friend of Jimmy Hopkins, and this goes both way, and is also Jimmy's only friend.

Biography

When Jimmy comes to school, he politely introduces himself in Jimmy's dorm, when Gary joins in to make fun of Pete for being the dorm's mascot, but Jimmy is clearly in a bad mood and asks him and Gary to. Him and Gary become his first friends.

After Jimmy is betrayed by Gary, he still sticks by as Jimmy’s friend and acts as his moral support, though he is sad the friend group is no longer.

In Chapter 2, while Jimmy is angry and wants nothing to do with the school, Pete gives Jimmy the idea to box Biff to infiltrate the Preppies and end up conquering the school, of which he succeeds in taking over the Prep Clique. This allows Jimmy to increase his influence around that school with his new popularity.

In Chapter 3, Pete suggests that Jimmy befriends Johnny Vincent to get closer to Gary (who is planning something sinister) so Jimmy obliges and befriends the Greasers for a while. Later, however, in the mission Finding Johnny Vincent when Gary tricks the Greasers, they want to beat Jimmy and end up using Pete as a hostage, so all of the Greasers to attack Jimmy with fireworks etc., also threatening to “destroy” him. Once Jimmy finally is in a one on one fight with Johnny, he will attack Jimmy and try to brutalize him with a lead pipe while on his bike. Luckily though, when halfway through the battle, Pete will use an electromagnetic crane to take Johnny’s lead pipe and bike away from him. Once Jimmy beats him, this lets him take over the Greasers and stop them from bullying other students.

In Chapter 4, when Ted and another trample on Pete, Jimmy becomes enraged enough to bring them down as well, starting Jimmy's fight with the Jocks. In that chapter, he is also shown as being rejected from the Nerds group and giving Jimmy advice on how to regain control of the Nerds. After watching Jimmy's battle with the football team, Pete instructs him to sack Ted once every defender has been knocked out.

In Chapter 5, Pete tries to caution Jimmy at the beginning that he must remember Gary, but Jimmy ignores him. Pete persuades Jimmy to continue fighting after he is expelled and declares his desire to quit up and let Gary win. When everybody note hates Jimmy, he is the one to tell him about the chaos at school he must stop like the school fire and etc.

Jimmy, now inspired decides he won’t let Gary win and then ends up defeating Gary and saving all of Bullworth, ending it’s riot and all bullying. Later on, Pete is appointed to become Head Boy at school, so he can be a peaceful leader.
