Leonardo San Juan, Leo San Juan or simply Leo, is the main character of Las Leyendas film series and as well as Netflix's Legend Quest and Legend Quest: Masters of Myth.
He is also voiced by Johnny Rose.
He is an orphaned boy who lives with his grandmother Tonita San Juan, his nana Dionisia and his brother Nando in the city of Puebla de los Angeles, New Spain. He has the ability to see ghosts and have contact with creatures from the world of the dead.
Despite starting out as a fearful child. over time he becomes a very brave person.
Personality
At just 11 years old, Leo is a boy with a lot of heart. He used to be very fearful and somewhat introverted, but after having beaten the Nahuala. he has become on optimistic and very confident person. Leo's gaze is melancholy, sad, since he is an orphan. He wears a cameo around his neck with the image of his mother. Her big challenge is to beat La Llorona, but she doesn't know who she's up against.
