Kenshi Masaki (柾木 剣士) is the half brother of Tenchi Masaki. His parents are Nobuyuki Masaki and Rea Masaki. Kenshi is the main protagonist of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki spinoff Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari also known as Saint Knight's Tale and Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar.
Abilities
Kenshi develops superhuman strength and sspeed which enables him to complete his tasks more efficiently and quickly. Likewise, he is surprisingly adept in finding all sorts of medicinal plants and herbs and even creating concoctions from them to help both Ultye and Lithia deal with their respective exhaustion. He's so skilled that Aura's own royal pharmacist is interested in how he makes these.
Personality
Kenshi started off as arrogant and bash. He willingly took part in an attack on Lashara hoping to be returned home, but ultimately refuses to actually kill her when ordered. Later, he redeemed himself, and he's fully on the side of the angels for the rest of the series.
He really JUST wants to go home; that's his goal, with whatever allies and resources he can get to help make his dream a reality. But because his family neglected to tell him ANYTHING about being sent to fight Gaia and just teleported him in his sleep to Geminar, Kenshi is utterly clueless about his destiny. Though he does seem to (correctly) blame Washu for his new life.
Due to the trauma of his childhood training to prep him for Geminar and Washu hypnotizing him to keep the extraterrestrial nature of the Masaki family secret, Kenshi is VERY suggestible if he's put under enough stress. Make him so terrified that he wishes he wasn't there? He'll go completely on autopilot as a blank slate until given commands or cues for what to do. Threaten to take away his precious crystals? He'll do whatever you tell him until you scream that he accomplished task.

- In order to convince Tenchi and Ryo-Ohki to let Kenshi go to Geminar, Tokimi promised that, in the event of certain death, she would transport him home, though he would be forever banned from returning to that world.
- It's unknown if this is the same thing as the Recall feature Washu mentioned or its entirely somehting else.
- Like his brother, he is an unwilling chick magnet and ends up with a very unwanted harem (aside from the nameless schoolgirls who chase him). They also embody aspects of Kenshi's sister-in-laws.
- Mexiah is a shameless flirt like Ryoko. She is also technically his aunt, fulfilling the incest role Ayeka and Sasami had as well
- Lashara is a prude with a temper, just like Ayeka.
- Chiaia ends up causing him nothing but trouble with her actions; just like Mihoshi's bad luck.
- Wahanly is a mechanic whose help tends to backfire, just like Washi's experiments; she's also older than she looks due to outside circumstances.
- Aura is a polite princess who gets along with Kenshi due to their shared knowledge of foraging; just like how Tenchi worked in the fields and Sasami was the house's cook.
- Yukine was told by her princess to try seducing Kenshi, but she is shy and genuinely likes him; similar to how Seto set Noike up as a fake fiancee for Tenchi to keep an eye on his home, but came to care about him.
- Kenshi seems to be genuinely attracted to Yukine, whom is the only one of the girls to (aside from Aura) respect him as a person; he likewise tries to get Yukine to open up and say her own thoughts.
- If he had the option to do so, Kenshi would likely invite Yukine to live with him back on Earth.
- Kenshi technically suffers nothing but abuse in his series, War on Geminar, as his personal choices and life are largely ignored and outright threatened by the girls. This ranges from physical, emotional and psychological. If it wasn't for his training thanks to his family, Kenshi would have broken mentally a short time after going to Geminar.
- Geminar traditions for Sacred Mecha Masters is its own form of abuse; they aren't allowed to be with the one they love for life, so even if Kenshi ended up with a girl it wouldn't lead to a happy ending. Instead they are used as breeding stock to produce Sacred Mecha Masters, with marriage only lasting until the wife is pregnant, then the man is passed off to the next girl;which explains why the girls at the school are always after him regardless of the fact Kenshi has no interest in them.
