When the Bannings travel to London to visit Moira's grandmother and Peter's childhood friend, Wendy. Jack and Maggie are kidnapped by Peter's old rival, Captain Hook. Peter travels to Neverland with TinkerBell in an attempt to rescue the children. Peter initially fails to do so - TinkerBell agrees to help Peter regain his youthful spirit in order to defeat Hook and save Jack and Maggie.
Meanwhile, Hook plans with his assistant Mr. Smee to turn Jack and Maggie against their father. Maggie is not swayed but Jack is, mostly due to his father's broken promises and begins to look up to Hook as a father. Later in the film, during the battle, Jack sees Hook's true evil nature when the latter murders a lost boy, Rufio. In silent tears, he rues having anything to do with Hook and then decides that he wants to go back with his dad. While Peter fights Hook in a final duel, Jack would continue expressing amazement that his father is the Famous Peter Pan. After Hook is defeated and eaten by the crocodile (who came back to life), Jack flies back to England with his dad and sister, with Peter Pan (his dad) as his happy thought and starts to get along better with Peter.
