Uncle Joe is the deuteragonist in the Madea franchise, who is an old man who forever farts, fights inapporiately with Madea and talks inappropriate things about women and says humorously obnoxious things.
The brother of Madea Simmons, Uncle Joe insults Madea about her bottom and other nonsense things and is the father of Brian Simmons.
His famous one liner was in Madea's Big Happy Family, where he mostly said "1-800, Choke That Hoe" which he said was his new "name" for his imaginery tabloid show about baby mama, baby daddy dramas, due to being Inspired by the one him and Madea watch.
He is also portrayed by Tyler Perry.
