GingerBrave (formerly known as Brave Cookie) is the main protagonist and mascot of the Cookie Run franchise.
He is a very first gingerbread man monster who was brought to life and escaped from the Witch's oven, and is responsible for saving several other Cookies from being baked and eaten. In all of his playable roles, he serves as the default protagonist unlocked at the start of the game.
He was voiced in Cookie Run: Kingdom by Yang Jeong-hwa in Korean, Junko Takeuchi in Japanese (whom also voiced Naruto Uzumaki in Naruto and Gumball Watterson in The Amazing World of Gumball), Jeremy Shada in English (whom also voiced Finn Mertens in Adventure Time and Lance in Voltron: Legendary Defender), Chen Tingting in Mainland Mandarin (whom also voiced Mona Megistus in Genshin Impact), Lei Biwen in Taiwanese Mandarin, Sansanee Tinkeeradit in Thai, Marco Rosenberg in German, and Charles Germain in French.
Appearance
GingerBrave is a shape of a gingerbread cookie. He has blue eyes surrounded with icing, white hair, a red icing mouth and two white candy skulls on his dough. He wields an candy cane on his left arm.
Biography
GingerBrave was baked in an oven within a witch's house and brought to life via his magical powder, where he woke up to find many other gingerbread cookies all doomed to be eaten by the Witch. Defying his fate, he decided to run away from the oven, where he learned how to jump and slide and eventually found freedom.

- GingerBrave appears to be the 5 characters, the other three being Dozer, GingerBright, Schwarzwälder (or Choco Werehound Brute) and Space Doughnut in the entire franchise that does not have the word "cookie" in his name. He is one of the only three cookies that do not have the word "cookie" in his name, with the other ones being Dozer and GingerBright.
- GingerBrave's original name in Korean (용감한 쿠키) translates to Brave Cookie in English. Other official translations of his name (with the exception of French, Russian and Indonesian) also translates to Brave Cookie.
- The original game was first released in June 12th of 2009 titled Ovenbreak as well as GingerBrave's debut.
- On June 12th to 21th of 2021 is GingerBrave's birthday being mentioned as "Brave Day".
