Drak'thul is a protagonist in the Warcraft franchise, serving as a minor character in Warcraft 3 : Frozen Throne and also a supporting protagonist in World of Warcraft: Legion.
He is an orc warlock living on the Broken Isles and former member of the Stormreaver clan who once served Gul'dan during his search for the Eye of Sargeras until his master and minions were torn apart by demons, After the Black Tooth Grin clan managed to exterminate the Stormreaver clan and the Twilight’s Hammer clan, Drak'thul became the last of his clan and a simple hermit. During Illidan’s pursuit, he asked Maiev and his patrol to rest the undead orcs and recover the Skeletal Artifact before he told his story about the Broken Isle and Gul'dan’s fate. Later, he met the dwarf adventurer Brann Bronzebeard and his adventurous allies in the quest to prevent the Burning Legion from invading Azeroth again.
Biography
Past
During the events of the Second War, when Gul'dan and the Stormreaver clan betrayed the Horde to head to the Broken Isle in search of exploring an underwater tomb known as the Tomb of Sargeras.
When part of the Stormreaver clan and the Twilight’s Hammer clan were massacred by members of the Black Tooth Grin clan while Gul'dan and the rest of his fellow clan members were torn apart by the demons guarding the tomb, Drak'thul is the only survivor to be spared from the attack of the Black Tooth Grin clan and the demons guarding the tomb, but he was chased by his ghostly comrades that he decided to stay alone and become a hermit to redeem himself until he found help to calm his ghostly comrades.
Meeting Maiev and her patrols
While Maiev and her Watcher patrol hunt down Illidan and his army Naga's army on the Broken Isles to send him back to his cell again, she meets Drak'thul for the first time (thinking he is in the stench of demons), but Drak'thul imposes peace on Maiev to avoid quarrels with the Night Elves and explains to the warden that he is being chased by tormented ghosts who are nothing but his former comrades from the Stormreaver clan fighting alongside the clan Twilight’s Hammer and the Blackrock clan and ordered to appease them and bring back a demonic relic known as the Skeletal Artifact and once the orc ghosts were taken rest, He told the story of the Broken Isles to Maiev.
After Maiev and his patrol managed to silence the decimated orcs and bring back the Skeletal Artifact to the wandering warlock, Maiev told Drak'thul that the dead would no longer trouble him. Drak'thul told him his story about the Broken Isles from where his former master Gul'dan made these islands spring into the depths of the sea in order to covet a powerful relic known as the Eye of Sargeras in the tomb of the fallen titan of the same name.
Explaining Sargeras' defeat that his remains were locked in a sub-gravemarine and that Gul'dan was able to open this tomb to confer the power of Sargeras that Gul'dan's pride will lead him to his death alongside the rest of his clan by the demons who guard the tomb.
Despite the fate of the Stormreaver clan since the death of Gul'dan, Drak'thul prefers to wander these islands since then, haunted by the ghosts of his dismembered comrades, which reassures the kindness of Maiev and her patrol.
Drak'thul rewarded Maiev with a Magi’s robe and returned to his hut to have his life quiet, while Maiev and his patrol continued her chase on Illidan before revealing important things in the Tomb of Sargeras engraved by Gul'dan.
Meeting Brann Bronzebears and his allies
Since he has remained on the south bank of Thal'dranath for years and he initially refused to speak to visitors, after he is found his relic in a cave located in the center of the island and he appears many things during his stay on the Broken Isles lord of his meeting with Maiev and his patrol, being immersed in places he does not like to discover and he wants to forget and would like to be alone until the darkness catches up with him. He heard whispers related to the Very Ancient Gods and Kosumoth at some point until he unknowingly spoke of Shath'yar.
Later, when the wandering warlock meets a dwarf explorer named Brann Bronzebeard, he believes it is a murloc. After correcting his mistake, Drak'thul apologizes to the dwarf explorer and tells his story about the Broken Isles.
Personnality
Drak'thul was once a loyal warlock to Gul'dan and one of the powerful members of the Stormreaver clan. But unfortunately, the fact that the loss of his clan from the death of his master by the Black Tooth Grin clan and the guardian demons of the Tomb of Sargeras that it led him into a tragedy and he decided to become a hermit to redeem himself and ask for help to overcome his disorders of his friends.
Despite his tragic nature, Drak'thul loved solitude and wanted peace over strangers seeking to oppose evil like Maiev until she was friends. He also tolerated telling the story of the Broken Isles and the Tomb of Sargeras to explain his memories. Initially, he may be suspicious of strangers before knowing them out of politeness, but he is also tolerant of forgiveness as long as it is that Brann Bronzebeard is a Murloc until he is forgiven.
Appearance
Drak'thul is a male orc with green skin, he is dressed in a red warlock dress decorated with dragon scales, he also has a red hat resembling that of a witch hat, he has favorites and a goatee of gray colorsclear to show that it is old and has a black magic stick of beige-golden color resembling a necromancy stick.

- Drak'thul is also the first warlock in the Warcraft franchise to be heroic.
- Unlike his former master, the loss of his comrades was considered a tragedy for Drak'thul until he requested help from a Night Elf patrol led by Maiev during her pursuit of Illidan. While Gul'dan destroyed his clan in revenge since he was influenced by Kil'Jaeden did not hold up as a freudian excuse. Drak'thul is often considered a good counterpart to Gul'dan.
