Dr. Kozumi is an old scientist friend of Dr. Gilmore and a supporting character in the Cyborg 009 series. He is a leading authority in the field of biochemistry and the one who houses the 00 Cyborgs at first after they escape from Black Ghost.
History
After the 00 Cyborgs and Dr. Gilmore escaped from Black Ghost, they took refuge with Dr. Kozumi at his residence to hide from Black Ghost. He was later abducted by a trio of cyborg assassins sent by Black Ghost to kidnap him, hoping to use his knowledge of biochemistry for their own technology.
The assassin trio took him to be delivered to Black Ghost's newest cyborg prototype, Cyborg 0013, but they were pursued by Cyborg 009. 0013 also ended up having a change of heart after being persuaded to turn good by 009 and let Kozumi go after killing the assassins.
After Kozumi was rescued, Gilmore and the 00 Cyborgs left to take refuge at another location. He has not made an appearance since.
