Dancarino is one of the supporting characters of Sony Pictures Animation's 2021 animated feature film Vivo. He is an Roseate spoonbill. He lives in the Florida everglades, and rescues Vivo from an evil snake named Lutador. He was depressed and self-loathing until he met his mate, Valentina. Vivo originally dismisses Dancarino, yet later turned to help him with Valentina.
He is voiced by Brian Tyree Henry, who also voices Jefferson Davis in the Spider-Verse films and D-16 in Transformers One, and also portrays Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles in Atlanta, Mike Norris in the 2019 Child's Play remake, Bernie Hayes in Godzilla vs. Kong and its sequel Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Lemon in Bullet Train, and Phastos in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
