Captain Dickson is the tritagonist of the 2012 movie 21 Jump Street and it's 2014 sequel 22 Jump Street. He is the short-tempered police captain of Jump Street and is Morton Schmidt and Greg Jenko's boss. He also has a daughter in college, whom Schmidt starts a relationship with.
He was portrayed by famous rapper Ice Cube who also portrayed Craig Jones in the Friday film series, Joseph Bowman in Call of Duty: Black Ops, and The Candle Maker in The Book of Life.
Personality
Captain Dickson is a short-tempered, foul-mouthed, serious, no-nonsense police captain who takes his job seriously as he works off to be the captain as shown when he refers to himself as "An angry black captain, Typical stereotype." He is shown to have zero tolerance for incompetence and stupidity and will respond with yelling and cussing. He is also prone to temper tantrums, as shown when he found out Schmidt slept with Dickson's daughter Maya and threw a fit at a restaurant making a mess. He even retaliated to Schmidt sleeping with his daughter by tasing his testicles causing him great pain.
Despite his serious and short-tempered personality, he is shown to care for his students as he tries to prepare them for the police academy, even Schmidt and Jenko.
