The Candy People are the main citizens of the Candy Kingdom, ruled by Princess Bubblegum. Most of the Candy People are candies, fruits, or other sweets. Many of them have similar attributes, including major gullibility, a love for parties (whether thrown by their princess or by others, including Finn and Jake) and a tendency to explode when they are frightened. The Candy People's tendency to explode appeared in "Slumber Party Panic" but has not occurred or been referenced since then.
