Bug is the deuteragonist of the 2023 adult live-action movie Strays. He is the leader of a gang of stray dogs.

He was voiced by Jamie Foxx, who also portrayed President James Sawyer in White House Down and Oliver Warbucks in the 2014 adaption of Annie and Django Freeman in the 2012 film "Django Unchained," and voiced Nico from the Rio films and Joe Gardner in Soul.

Biography

Bug used to be a stray who liked to hump the couch "Dolorous" and also liked being in the outside world - He met Reggie and became best friends later on. He was also friends with Maggie and Hunter and they became a pack. He used to be Emma's Pet (until he accidentally bit her ankle and was almost put down till he escaped) and later changed his mind on hating humans when seeing Riley (Lost Girl) and he became her dog.

Heroic Acts

  • He convinced Reggie that Doug doesn't love him. He still questions it at first when Reggie told him his plan until he said "I'm gonna bite Doug's dick off"

Trivia

  • Even though Bug blames Emma for her parents wanting him euthanised, Bug seems to be well aware it wasn't her fault he just blames her as a way of coping with no longer having an owner as it is heavily implied that he misses Emma and Bug does discover Doug was far worse.
