Banagher Links is the main protagonist of the Novel/OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. A boy who is a student at Anaheim Industry Technical School in the colony "Industrial 7". He is described as seeing war as something akin to fiction, as he was born after the One Year War ended and did not experience the more isolated wars that followed it. However, upon meeting Audrey, he is drawn into a new conflict. He does a part-time job clearing space debris with a miniature MS.
He was voiced by Kōki Uchiyama in Japanese and Steve stanley in English.
Overview
Banagher is a sixteen-year-old student attending Anaheim Electronics Industrial College alongside his friends, Banagher seems to have a contented life despite essentially living on the school's suffrage thanks to having no contact with his father and his mother dying when he was young. His life drastically changes when he encounters Audrey, a young woman who seeks to prevent a war. His instant devotion to her results in him Falling into the Cockpit of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, becoming embroiled in a resurgent conflict between the Earth Federation Forces and Char's Neo-Zeon movement, now known as the "Sleeves".
Personality
Banagher is a well meaning young man. He is born an incredibly powerful Newtype and his training gave him proper combat skills, but it is his resolve and purity of heart that gives him the power to control NT-D and keep himself from committing outright genocide. Likewise, he is kind to a fault, friendly, and is quite willing to talk things out of any situation.
