Axton is the playable commando class character in borderlands 2 and joined the crimson raiders to help defeat handsome jack
he is voiced by Rob McCollum
History
Background
Axton was born from the planet of Hieronymous, and joined Dahl at a young age spending at least a decade rise up to the rank of sergeant. he also married a girl named Sarah who happened to be his commanding officer. Axton however was a glory hog that led to many compromised mission that led to him discharged by dahl and divorced by his wife. Sarah does though advice him to go AWOL because Dahl sends those who are discharged to a firing wall. Axton then escapes to Pandora and becomes a bounty hunter. when collecting one bounty the sheriff of the town notices that Axton was said and ask why with Axton replying that it was to easy. Jack notices this and sends a add to his location that takes advantage of Axton want for glory and Axton made his to Jacks train starting his life as a vault hunter.
Borderlands 2
Axton meets up with the other vault hunters and escape jacks trap. he then helps with the defeat of handsome jack. he takes part in the other dlcs and during the Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax dlc an assassin was sent to kill Axton but was killed by his ex-wife Sarah. Axton also went on a mission with gaige to hunt a vault on eptah and capture Aurelia hammerlock. Axton also formed a great bond with gaige as well. Axton later took on modeling that work out well with many products such as mech paint jobs and body pillows.
