Princess Aliyah-Din is a character from Scooby-Doo in Arabian Nights. She appears in the segment that is similar to the story of Aladdin with a genderbend twist starring Yogi and Boo-Boo as her genies. She is kind, sweet and gentle, but also brave and courageous and is proven worthy to win The Prince's heart. At the end of the segment, it is revealed that she was the lost princess of Sarandibe who was betrothed to the Prince since birth.
She is voiced by Jennifer Hale.
Appearance
She has blue eyes and black hair wears a brown cloak over herself. As a princess, her hair is in a ponytail and she wears gold earrings and a pink Arabian-styled dress.
Biography
Aliyah-Din was first seen doing laundry by the river when the Prince falls in love with her at first sight. She runs into the Prince and falls in love with him. She runs off before she learns that he has to find a bride and it has to be a princess. Haman, the vizier takes her down to a portal to get a lamp, however, she gets trapped. She rubs the lamp and meets Genie Yogi and his Assistant Genie Boo-Boo. She wishes to be a princess to win the Prince's heart. However, later Haman steals the lamp and uses it to lock her in the dungeon with the Prince. She manages to save him and stop Haman by using Yogi's second wish. For her last wish, she wishes to be a princess again when the King, the Prince's father says they couldn't marry, but when he hears the name "Aliyah-Din", it is revealed that she was the lost princess of Sarandibe who was betrothed to the Prince since birth, happily allowing them free to be married.
