The Quartz Flask is a healing artifact found in Heretic, Heretic II, Hexen, and Hexen II.
All Games
The Quartz Flask restores 25 of the player's health and can be used from the player's inventory at will, but only if their health is below 100%. Since it cannot go higher than the maximum, it is recommended only when one's health is at 75% or below.
Unlike in the other games, the Heretic II health potion is consumed immediately and cannot be saved for future use.

- In Heretic, if you are playing at the lowest skill level, Quartz Flasks will automatically be used if the player is at low health.
