Plot Summary
Moral
Loo-Kee: "Hi there friends! I'm Loo-Kee. Did you see where I was hiding in today's show? If not, look now. I'm hiding here. See me? Here I am! In today's story, Arden made a mistake when he went to join Shadow Weaver. But you can bet he won't do that again. We all make mistakes, there's nothing wrong with that. The important thing is for us to learn from our mistakes. That way, we won't make the same mistake again. Bye now!"

Behind the Scenes
- Script was approved December 13, 1984 and final script revisions were concluded March 15, 1985.
- The script states that in the flashback sequence, Castaspella is roughly twelve years old, whereas Shadow Weaver is in her late teens or early twenties.
- In a scene removed for time, Mantenna suggests to Shadow Weaver that they tell Hordak that She-Ra has beaten the Dark Riders, but Shadow Weaver maintains that she is in charge at Horror Hall.
- The character models for Arden and Norwyn were designed by character artist Bruce Timm.
- Several elements in this story were inspired by Star Wars (1977): Norwyn asks Madame Razz for help by way of a message that resembles Princess Leia's hologram and later mentions he had an apprentice who turned to evil. Shadow Weaver's fall to darkness parallels Anakin Skywalker's fall to the dark side and becoming Darth Vader.
- During his moral segment, Loo-Kee's dialogue is cut off after he says "Bye Now". You can just hear him utter the letter 's', most likely to say "See you next time".
Continuity
- When Norwyn is talking about the Horde invasion of Etheria, footage of the Horde invading Eternia in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode Origin of the Sorceress is shown.
- A winding pathway leading up to a volcano to Horror Hall is revealed for the first time.
- The same animation model used for Shadow Weaver's raven-like spy originally appeared as Skeletor's Raven in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode The Energy Beast.
- A different version of the town of Alwyn is presented in the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power episode Signals.
- A different version of Norwyn appears in flashbacks as the head of the Sorcerer's Guild in the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power episode Light Spinner.
- The band that plays at the Laughing Swan Inn will be seen again in the episode When Whispering Woods Last Bloomed.
Errors
- When Loo-Kee reveals his hiding place during the moral segment, the foreground is the same as before, but the background plate is different from what was shown during the story itself.
